Contrary to popular belief, the parade is not put on by the City or District of North Van or a service club. It's just the eight of us along with the support of our community.

2005 will be our seventh year of putting on the Canada Day Parade. The parade had been an annual tradition for as long as any of us could remember and when we noticed the first year that the parade was missing we decided to do something about it.

We have grown to include over 1500 participants and many thousands of spectators and everyone tells us what a great time they had.

We hope you will join us in celebrating Canada's Birthday. Whether you enter in our parade or watch from the street, we hope you enjoy your day with us.
